To meet the growing demand of mobile photography, Maxic has unveiled MT3211, a compact Ambient Light Sensor (ALS) with Flicker detection. It detects flicker frequency in the environment, eliminating streak in photos to ensure high-quality imaging, automatically achieving excellent and accurate white balance under various lighting conditions, ensuring superior image quality with every shot.

Gain Setting
MT3211 is designed with configurable gain setting which enables the chip to automatically select the optimal gain level according to the input signal strength, thereby enhancing signal linearity and improving SNR.
Temperature Sensing
The chip features high-accuracy temperature sensing to monitor IC operating temperature in real time. This functionality enhances system reliability and provides temperature compensation, allowing the chip to maintain stable performance across a range of temperature conditions.
Ultra-low Power Consumption
MT3211 achieves ultra-low static and dynamic power consumption while maintaining high performance by optimizing its internal circuit structure and employing advanced power management strategies. In sleep mode, it consumes only 0.35µA current, making it ideal for power-sensitive mobile devices.
Maxic’s latest innovations in mobile technology include four groundbreaking sensor series: tiny-slit ambient light and proximity sensors (ALS+PS), under-display color temperature and proximity sensors, flicker sensors, and laser distance sensors. These sensors enhance LCD and OLED screens, as well as rear cameras, and are already integrated into top global smartphone brands.
Maxic is expanding its presence in smartphone industry and will soon introduce multi-spectral and 3D distance sensors.
